Facet 40345, Facet Cube 12V Fuel Pump, 12-15 psi, 96" lift, 1/2-20 inlet

Solid-state Facet cube-style fuel pumps have low power requirements (about 1 amp at 12 volts) and operate without troublesome seals or diaphragms. Facet pumps are compatible with gasoline, alcohol blends (up to and including E85), diesel, biodiesel, and fuel additives. This model was designed for Caterpillar for use on their small- and medium-size bucket loaders and wheeled asphalt paving machines. It is rated for maximum fuel delivery of 50 gallons per hour at free-flow. Maximum pressure 12 to 15 psi. Typical flow 20 gph at 5 psi. Inlet: 1/2-20 female*. Outlet: 1/8" NPT female. (Most Facet cube-style pumps have 1/8 NPT inlet and outlet; this peculiar combination was made to Caterpillar specs.) This pump has an internal one-way (anti-drainback) check valve to prevent fuel from draining backwards through the pump. It does not have a positive shut-off (anti-siphon) valve, so fuel can flow through the pump when turned off. The huge 96 inch dry lift capability is greater than any other cube-style pump Facet offers. The positive and negative wires have a 2-pin Deutsch connector installed from the factory. This is the same pump supplied to Caterpillar and sold under Cat part numbers 345-3520, 416-5886, 445-8283, 473-9374, 552-5534 and 560-4925. Beware of counterfeits! If you are adapting this pump to a different application, you will need to add a crush washer (1/2" ID, not included) to get your 1/2-20 inlet adapter to seal properly.
